Research Based CIA-Student Seminar -Final Year HEP,July 2019

The research based CIA presentations initiated by the Department of International Studies and History was held on 1st of July, Monday. The program aimed at increasing research based skills among students. It was a one-hour program where Dr. Vineeth Thomas and around 70 students of final year HEP was present. The first speaker of the hour was Mr. Siddharth Tiwari who spoke on the role of public administration in preserving environment. The presentation was primarily divided into two parts where, Mr. Tiwari detailed   on the environmental issues faced by India and later spoke on the laws regarding the same. Briefing on sustainable development marked an end to this presentation. The next speaker was Ms. Akhila Arram who spoke about the role public administration in health sector. A briefing on the problems in the health care sector was provided, which was followed by the role of government and schemes. Mr. Priyam Agarwal, the final speaker for the day presented on the role of public administration in the educational system of India. Starting from the history of Indian educational system, Mr. Priyam pointed out the loopholes, functioning and future of the same. Question and answer session was also made available to the students after each presentation. Ms. Sarvapriya proposed the vote of thanks and the program marked its end by 1:00 p.m. The emcee for the programme was Mr. Nikhil Kumar Reddy.
